This video is a review of a Telecaster and a PRS, both of which are played through a Bugera V5. Both guitars were played on the same settings and were recorded through garageband by a USB microphone. For more driven sounds and more distorted tube sound, we used a Fulltone Full Drive 2 and its boost channel. The Telecaster is a homemade guitar that I built from a kit, a Saga TC-10. The guitar has single coil pickups, giving a bright sound when amplified. The PRS is a production line guitar, specifically a PRS SE Singlecut. It has humbuckers, which are dual coiled pickups, so the guitar has a thicker and warmer sound when amplified. Both guitars are played through the Bugera V5. The V5 is Bugera's take on a vintage, low wattage amplifier. It is a 5 Watt, all tube amp with an 8" speaker. The amp puts out some warm, "vintage" tone with a considerable amount of tube saturation when cranked. It has four simple controls, Gain, Tone, Volume, and Reverb. The amp also includes a speaker output jack, a headphone jack, and a power attenuator that can switch between .1, 1, and 5 watts. Thanks for Watching. PS If you, by some miracle, enjoyed this video, we could do more of these type "vids". If this video is just really terrible, we'll even pretend like it never even happened....
